Session Log

Chapter 13: The Coming of Twilight

====Phase 1====

Session 1: Party meets at Durgan's signup table. Big melee. Party accompanies Durgan to Sonjar's Tower.
Session 2: Party fights Shainax, explores dungeon.
Session 3: Party fights Durgan, takes over Devils. Shinki leaves. Nehemiah arrives.
Session 4: Into the dungeon! Dance-off, table manners, time travel and mystery music.
Session 5: Escape! Into the wilds!
Session 6: The Huntsman attacks the Illythirii. Party returns.
Session 7: Chess, and the End of Propriety. Nehemiah nukes the game by invoking Zahl. Zahl arrives, kills entire party and all Devils, and seizes Sonjar's Tower as her own. Game resets.

====Phase 2 (Post-Reboot)====

Session 1: Party meets up over the Ark of the Philosopher-Kings. Col. Karzai defeated. Party sets out into Brightstar Lake.
Session 2: Layover in Ilaphanar. Party outfits for bear, then heads into desert. Fights the King Scorpion, and eases tension between some Illythirii raiders and a caravan.
Session 3: Party fights a glass snake, then camps out in Raudor for some freaky weirdness.
Session 4: Into the desert a bit more. Durgan! Gasp! Secure shelter in a mountain pass. Shainax attacks! Back in time! Party hangs out in a space inn. Imprisoned! They meet the princess Azora. To the Accumulator! Back to the Future!
Session 5: The Jade Empress revealed. Party vs. Durgan's Devils in a race to the finish! Into the Shadow Plane. The tower of Madryoch. Key-staff recovered!
Session 6: Library of Tal'Karash explored. Three challenges met! Prime numbers, quiz show, and scroll golems! And, of course, the Revelation of Secrets. Party gains the Scepter of the High General, the Orb of Stars, the Blade of the Defilers, and learns the location of the six missing fragments of the Ark of the Philosopher-Kings. Party escapes, with the help of druid magic and a Big Bird, to a druid hideaway in the mountains. Keket's man-meat leaves.
Session 7: On the way back to Dahztanar, a giant sea drake attacks the ship, blowing it to smithereens! Or does it? The Orb of Stars can turn back time! Back in town, the party splits up, and is set upon by agents of the Sh'hadim! Keket dies!!!
Session 8: Raynar tortured. Atashban teams up with Kekat to go hunt find her spirit. Nehemiah frees Raynar. Battle vs golems and soldiers, simultaneous with battle vs. death and langoliers. Nehemiah's priesty friend heals Keket up good. But then, the trial! Dogpile on Col. Al-Qassar (Paleface), including Durgan's Devils. Durgan claims the Scepter of the High General as his prize.
Session 9: Time passes. Party arrives in Lakos, Unther (occupied Threskel). Hangs out, practices sports, and...meteor storm? A strange object has fallen from the sky, spreading green plasma everywhere. They make stuff out of it, then get horribly, horribly sick (radiation poisoning). Party recovers under Keket's ministrations.
Session 10: Party arrives in Doria, sets up an inn. Olympic games! Medals are won. Nehemiah gets caught cheating by Durgan, goes to Hell. Party follows Desdemona into Hades to retrieve him, at a terrible cost. Something happens in Hades; party and many spirits flee. The Furies attack the games!
